Rob Greenfield is an activist and humanitarian dedicated to leading the way to a more sustainable and just world. He wanted to make a visual image to show people just how much rubbish they created and inspire them to make positive changes.
The average American creates 2.2 kg pounds of waste each day, but most people never think twice about it. Once it’s in the rubbish bin, it’s out of sight, out of mind. So for 30 days, Rob lived just like the average American and he wore every piece of waste he created. He ended up with 60 kg of waste hanging all over him.

What can YOU do to change this?
Rob recommends the 7R strategy at home:
RETHINK -> REFUSE -> REDUCE -> REUSE -> REPAIR -> REPURPOSE -> ROT -> and only then… RECYCLE.
